Aerial Video and Photography is a great option for large events because it helps to provide a better picture of size and scale. Upper Cut Productions was commissioned by Sunsail to provide aerial photography at Skandia Cowes week - the largest and most prestigeous sailing regatta in the world. Below is a selection of low resolution photographs taken by our remote aerial photography system in winds topping 31mph.
For marine aerial photography, our clever rigger sets up a manual/powered winch system which incorporates syspension to account for the rocking motion of the boat. Along with the self levelling camera pod and gyro stabilization, we can achieve some very sharp shots in significant wind and motion.
   We have had a lot of interest from the yachting community because the balloon equipment is such an economical way to get incredible aerial shots of marine machines.
