Using the tethered helium aerostat and/or the Helicam, we can position an eye in the sky to observe and document events that occur below. A 2.4GHz downlink transmits the video signal to a base station for live monitoring whilst the cameras record high resolution imagery onboard. The Helicam is exceptionally quick to deploy and takes minutes to change battery packs.

The remote aerial video systems can be used effectively to assist in CCTV surveillance and crowd management at large outdoor events. The live signal can be wired into other CCTV networks for control room monitoring.

 

 

For Inspection purposes, the balloon can reach heights of over 600ft (with CAA approval) with reasonable accuracy. The Helicam will reach heights of 400ft. The camera systems have exceptional zoom capabilities for close up shots and useful stills can be taken from the High Definition video footage.
